Dress Code Policy
2024-2025 PCHS Dress Code
To help create the best learning environment for our students, the dress code for high school students must be followed by ALL students in grades 9-12.
Tops
- · All tops must fully cover the body (no exposed midriffs / low cut necklines)

- No tank tops, camisoles, or spaghetti straps.
- Anything on tops with inappropriate language, suggestive materials, references to tobacco / drugs / alcohol or anything else deemed inappropriate for school by an administrator is not allowed.
Bottom

- ALL bottoms are to be worn on the waistline.
- No Pants and/or jeans that are distressed or have holes.
- ALL bottoms must be of a length that is mid-thigh or longer.
- No pajama pants or leggings allowed.

Headgear

- Inappropriate head coverings are not permitted to be worn on campus.
- Examples of inappropriate headwear are hats of any kind, do-rags, bandanas, bonnets, shower caps, wave caps, stocking caps, etc.
- Hoodies or hoods on jackets cannot be worn on the head in the building.
Footwear
· No bedroom slippers allowed.
· No flip flops allowed.
FOR ALL ASPECTS of APPEARANCE: Articles of apparel, including patches on clothing, jewelry, or hair styles must not contain alcohol, tobacco, and other drug advertisements, obscene or inappropriate words or designs.
The school principal or designee will make the final determination of whether a student’s attire or appearance conflicts with these standards.
