We’re excited to invite you to join us for 9th Grade Family Night on Wednesday, September 09, 2026, from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM! This event is a wonderful opportunity to connect with our students’ families, celebrate their progress, and build strong partnerships that support our 9th graders’ success.
What Does 9th Grade Family Night Look Like?
1. Welcome & Check-In – By Counselors
*Families arrive and check in at the entrance.
*Parents receive progress reports to review their student’s academic standing.
2. Teacher Meet & Greet and Student Progress Discussions
*Teachers are stationed in classrooms or designated areas to meet families.
*Discuss individual student progress, strengths, and areas for growth based on the progress reports.
*Answer parent questions about coursework, grading, and classroom expectations.
3. Open Dialogue and Support
*Families encouraged to ask questions.
*Guidance and resources are provided to support student success.
4. Closing
*Families are thanked for attending and the importance of ongoing communication is emphasized.
*Familes are reminded to utilize the Campus Portal, the PCCSS App, and available resources.

A group of curious learners had the opportunity to step into Mr. Abney's science lab and conduct a hands-on experiment exploring the properties of water. From making predictions to observing results, these students embraced every part of the scientific process.

📋 Parking Pass Packet must be fully completed and turned in to the Front Office. Parking Pass Packet can be picked up from Mrs. Dorsey, PCHS Bookkeeper, or accessed via the PCHS website.
Beginning in September, parking regulations will be strictly enforced. Vehicles without a valid permit may receive warnings, fines, and may be subject to towing. Take care of your parking permit now and avoid unnecessary penalties later!

We celebrated James Bollen and Yashvi Patel for earning recognition at the National Beta Convention after advancing through state competition alongside fellow members of the Putnam County High School National Beta Club. Competing and placing on the national stage is an exceptional accomplishment, showcasing the talent, dedication, and perseverance of our students among some of the best Beta members in the country.
We also proudly recognized PCCSS for being named a 2025-2026 National Beta District of Distinction, a prestigious honor that highlights our district's commitment to academic excellence, leadership, service, and character.

Back-to-school required documents are now available for the 2026-2027 school year in Infinite Campus Parent Portal. You may access these forms by clicking on "Documents" on the left menu. Under Required Documents, please complete and sign ALL forms available. Please be sure to complete the alternative documents with the "PCHS" label first. The PCCSS Nursing Information form and Acceptable Internet Use Policy form (2nd page) are experiencing technical difficulties. Please use the PCHS alternatives.
